Omega-3. Sounds familiar? For years, the addition of extra Omega-3 fats (or fish oil) to your diet has been recommended. Loïs Lee is a big Omega-3 fan, but isn’t into fish oil. We do support the algae that the fish eat. The algae are the reason there is Omega-3 in fish in the first place. So, algae are the source of Omega-3 and by using it, it has no impact on the marine ecosystem. In addition, due to the environmental pollution in the sea, fish can be contaminated, which means that fish oil must undergo chemical and disinfection processes before it is suitable for consumption. Okay, so we use the Omega-3 from algae. But why is it so special for our skin? GLOmega-3 contains DHA and EPA. DHA is a building material for the skin and responsible for the health of cell membranes (cell wall). Healthy cell membranes lead to soft, moisture-rich, supple and more wrinkle- free skin.

Omega-3 can help protect the skin from sun damage. EPA helps counteract substances that attack the collagen in the skin after sun exposure.

Omega-3 also benefits:

Can’t swallow a capsule? Open the capsules and mix the contents into your smoothie, water or yogurt. Works just as well :-).
